More about Nellie

Say hello to our Nellie!

Nellie is a Springer Spaniel who arrived at Battersea as her previous owner could sadly no longer care for her.

During her early days Nellie was seen as very worried and somewhat shut down in kennels. She has been quite to make friends though would be a little appeasing and submissive. Since she has had time to bond, she is a completely different girl. Loves to play, becomes all excited around her handlers and zooms in our paddock areas.

Nellie would need to live in an area away from busy inner city and areas with a higher dog population. This is because Nellie doesn't seem to get much from other dogs, she will choose to avoid them where she can. Due to this and the worried side she has, Nellie will be looking for new owners with some experience in dealing with a dog of a sensitive nature. New owners would need to also be able to read her body language and is willing to work on building up her confidence at her own pace.
